Around 150 of IFAP’s member IFAs have also opted to become Media IFAs. These IFAs provide informed commentary and case studies on areas of finance and champion the use of independent financial advice across broadcast, online and print based consumer and trade media.

IFAP's Bluebook online lists details of the 150 Media IFAs and is available to journalists on our website. We know from independent research carried out by MORI that over 80% of personal finance journalists now use IFAP's bluebook online to source informed comment.

This service is an invaluable resource to our sponsors as it enables them to distribute their own media messages to the media IFAs. This means that when the journalist contacts the media IFA to discuss the sponsor’s individual stories the media IFA is already in possession of the sponsor’s press release.
