IFA Promotion links with Moneyextra.com
Consumers can now find an IFA and seamlessly e-mail them
IFA Promotion today announced that it has linked with the high-profile moneyextra.com consumer website in a jointly branded moneyextra-IFA Promotion service. The service will enable consumers to select from around 9,000 addresses on the IFA Promotion database and then seamlessly access websites and e-mail.
The new service - which can be found on www.moneyextra.com - enables consumers to select a choice of ten IFAs by postcode, convenient, for example, to either their home or to their place of work. Consumers can also select IFAs from 14 particular areas of interest, for example mortgages, investment, or by the payment method offered by the IFA (fees, commission or a mix).
By clicking on an individual entry consumers can access more detailed information on member IFAs, including a 75 word description of the IFA, and can then click through to e-mail addresses and websites where the IFA has these facilities.
"We fully believe that the web is the way of the future, and our strategy is to develop our web capabilities to make the task of finding independent financial advice on-line as easy as possible for consumers," said David Elms, Marketing Director of IFA Promotion. "IFA Promotion's comprehensive database, together with the moneyextra.com brand, will enable consumers to find independent advice at the click of a button."
"Our consumer research has shown us that people like to go to use the Internet to anonymously research products and services, but when it comes to making a transaction many of them want to speak to an independent financial adviser first," said Mark Bogard, managing director of moneyextra.com. "This new service gives consumers direct access to a wider range of IFAs"
