NEW STAR ARE NEW SPONSOR FOR IFA PROMOTION
New Star Investment Funds today became IFA Promotion’s latest sponsor, throwing further investment sector support behind the independent financial advice community in the run up to depolarisation.
IFAP now has 27 sponsor companies, most of them in the investment and pensions arena, but with growing support from other areas such as mortgage lenders and technology enablers.
Mark Skinner, Managing Director of New Star Investment Funds, commented: “Sponsoring IFAP’s successful efforts to attract new clients to our core distribution channel makes solid business sense for New Star, as well as enabling us to demonstrate our ongoing support for the IFA community, now and in future.”
David Elms, Chief Executive of IFA Promotion, said, “We’re delighted to welcome New Star as our new sponsor. As the depolarised world draws near, it’s increasingly clear that providers expect the IFA sector to thrive. IFAP will continue to spearhead the marketing drive for the independent brand, with the support of its growing sponsor base.”

Affordable. The option to take independent financial advice should be available, by right, to all - not just the wealthiest in society.
Convenient. IFAs should be available in the location of the consumer’s choice, wherever they live in the UK.
