IFA Promotion today gave members the chance to enhance their individual online search entry, so that it stands out to potential new clients.  IFAP has sent out a guide explaining this new online marketing opportunity to its 10,500-plus member firms, and subscribing IFAs can stand out from today [visual available].

IFAP’s search and its 45-plus white label searches dealt with 233,000 online consumer and business requests for local IFAs last year. Member IFAs say that 82% of the leads they receive from IFAP result in business.  For a flat introductory rate of 199+VAT a year, member IFAs subscribing before 31st January, can benefit from the following range of enhanced services:

  • Enhanced Display.  The IFA firm’s entry will be placed in a coloured box, making it stand out on the list presented by IFAP to online enquirers.
  • Interactive Functionality.  The IFA firm’s web and e-mail addresses will continue to be displayed and enabled by IFAP, allowing an enquirer to click straight through to an IFA’s website or contact them online.
  • Call Back.  Enquirers will be given the option to waive their confidentiality and request that the IFA firm calls them back directly.
  • Email-me details:  Enquirers can opt to have the IFA’s details emailed to their inbox.
  • Email report: Subscribers will receive a monthly email report, detailing how many times enquirers have viewed their online entry and what further information or contact they sought.

David Elms, Chief Executive of IFA Promotion, commented, “This is a superb value marketing opportunity for member IFAs keen to stand out in front of high-quality local new business leads.  For under 65p a day, IFAs can differentiate their entry and benefit from a number of interactive features, which will encourage enquirers to choose their firm first."

IFAP’s online searches will continue to deliver results for all members in order of how close each IFA (matching the enquirer’s preferences) is to the enquirer’s postcode, and all other IFAP member benefits - including brand promotion, merchandise, IFAP Media Services and regional Press Clubs - will remain unaffected.

Elms concluded, “It’s important to stress that this is an added value opportunity, and those member IFAs that choose not to take up this offer will continue to benefit from IFAP’s membership services, from the core referrals service to brand promotion, merchandise, IFAP Media Services and regional Press Clubs.  IFAP remains a not for profit organisation, and extra money generated from this offering will help support our promotional activities and member services."

IFAs who want to take advantage of IFAP’s special introductory price of 199+VAT a year have until 31st January 2005, after which standard pricing of 249 + VAT per year (or 24 + VAT per month) will apply.  IFAs can find out more about this online marketing opportunity and sign-up online at www.unbiased.co.uk- click on ‘IFA Member’, then ‘Online Marketing Package’,or by calling  0870 325 9020.
