Opinium joins forces with IFA promotion to launch Independent voice'

Opinium Research, a leading independent market research company, has today become a sponsor of IFA Promotion (IFAP), the organisation behind the consumer-facing brand Unbiased.co.uk, which hosts the leading ‘Find an IFA’ search.

The sponsorship agreement marks the launch of a new online research panel and forum called Independent Voice.  Opinium Research will be recruiting IFAs from the 16,500 individual member IFAs currently listed on IFAP’s database to run regular twin track IFA and consumer research on behalf of clients.

Once up and running, Independent Voice will be one of the most representative and responsive panels of its kind.  It will give companies inside and outside the financial services arena unparalleled access to the views of IFAs across the country and the ability to compare and contrast these views with those of the public.  The twin–track panel will highlight the differences and similarities in attitudes and expectations between these two groups, crucial for companies wanting to encompass the needs of the end consumer and the detailed requirements of an IFA audience when it comes to product development and marketing.

Independent Voice will run monthly omnibus surveys that will automatically pose identical questions to the IFA community and also to a representative sample of UK adults.  It will also build and run ad hoc bespoke surveys with IFAs only and IFAs and consumers in tandem.  In addition, regular report data will be available to Independent Voice members allowing them to tap into peer group thinking and the views of consumers on issues and products.
