In addition to the list of online media tools that are outlined in part one of this guide, IFA Promotion also create site-specific content for your website which will give added depth for readers. We have created a suite of articles for BBC Online looking at different personal finance topics, a series of ‘Ask the Experts’ answering bespoke reader personal finance questions and most recently, we are currently working on creating an XML feed for you to receive financial advice relevant content to your website.

Guides and Articles

We have a large selection of guides and factsheets on a wide range of personal finance topics. We would be happy to provide the content for these to you as many websites have found them extremely useful. This information can also be provided as articles, a number of websites including BBC Online feature several of our guides which we see as testament to the quality of the content.

Example:

BBC

One extremely useful guide is our recently updated ‘Guide to Financial Advice’ which could make a useful section on your website and perhaps provide the best place for the white label of the Find An IFA search to sit? This guide was awarded a Plain English award in 2006 – quite a feat for a financial services guide

Ask The Experts
We have also provided an ‘Ask The Experts’ service for websites, such as AOL, Tiscali and Myfinances.co.uk, who require a series of generic personal finance questions answered on a regular basis.

Tiscali

AOL

We manage the whole process, source the media friendly IFAs who are experts in different fields to respond in a 200-250 word answer and send these to you to add to the site each week. This is normally set up with a link to Unbiased.co.uk’s ‘Find An IFA’ search at the top or bottom of this section as a call to action for any visitors who have similar issues but are not in the vicinity of the IFA who answered the question. Clearly this would fit well with your white label of the search.

Press release and research content as XML feeds

Our press releases and research are also covered regularly by a huge range of websites such as Reuters, Independent, Mirror Online, Sky News and Yahoo. These releases cover every aspect of personal finance from tax wastage, to attitudes to pensions, to finding the right advice and ISA inactivity. We can arrange to feed this – in XML format - through to you on a regular basis. We can also regionalise this content if it suits your site.
