South West London has emerged as the capital’s financial advice hotspot as new data from unbiased.co.uk, the find an adviser search, reveals that one in five (21%) consumer searches for an adviser in the capital are carried out on a SW postcode.
South West London is followed by South East (16%) and West (15%) London in 2nd and 3rd place, while WC postcodes mark the bottom of the list, driving just under 2% of searches in London. Overall, London makes up nearly 11% of the total searches for a financial adviser in the UK.

The website’s data shows there has been a strong consumer demand for whole of market advice since the start of 2013, reporting an 18% increase in people visiting the unbiased.co.uk website, where consumers and businesses can find details of 25,000 advisers listed. The top financial advice triggers for people searching continue to be pensions, investments and savings.
