Saturday 16th April 2011

which ISA cash account is currently the one with the highest interest rate in the UK

Answer:

There are a number of different types of cash ISA, from those offering immediate access to your money, to those where you tie up for 1,2,3,4 or even 5 years. generally speaking you will be offered a higher rate the longer you invest. However, these fixed terms arrangements usually don't allow you any access until the maturity date, so don't tie money up you might need.

ISA rates change frequently depending upon the amount of business a bank or building society wants to take in. You should shop around using comparison websites to find the ones which suit your needs best.

This year year you can invest up to £5,340 into cash ISA.
