The time is 2015. Time to advise

Will 2015 fulfil our predictions by being the Year of Advice?

09 Jan 2015

Happy New Year

We'll look back on 2014 as the year of change - with shake-ups in everything from stamp duty to death tax and (most of all) pensions.  They rocked the finance industry, to say nothing of the general public. Consumers are opening their eyes onto a brave new world and they're going to need all the help they can get.  We've got a few tips to start them off here.

Show off your badges

Have you seen any of these badges proudly displayed in searches recently?  They're part of our new initiative to help you boost your client list this New Year and beyond.

You can show up to four special offer badges on your profile, so long as you provide the relevant services.  They're a great way to generate more leads and boost your client list overall.  We'll also be promoting these special offers in a wide range of advertising and PR initiatives, to give you even more exposure.

Log in to your account to find out more today - and why not update your profile for the New Year while you're there?

Let consumers know - use any of these hashtags across social media to let potential clients know about your offer.

  • #FREEpensioncheck
  • #FREEmortgagereview
  • #FREEinvestmentcheck
  • #FREEfinancialhealthcheck

Trends in 2015

We've shared our predictions - now share yours!  On our LinkedIn discussion this week, we'd like to know what you think will be the big trends in 2015 for finance, now that the dust is settling.  How will the industry react to the pension changes?  Will mortgage brokers see an increase in business now stamp duty has changed?  Share your thoughts.

Beyond the interview

Stephen Hagues of Foundation Resourcing continues his masterclass in recruitment techniques, by revealing how you can weed out those candidates who dazzle in interviews and then fizzle out in the office.  Find out how to hold a successful assessment day here.

Vision 2015 Seminars - Money Talks!

Investec Wealth & Investment will be distributing the 8th edition of our annual Vision publication in early January 2015.  The publication is designed to share our thoughts with our financial adviser partners and their clients and will cover some of the key investment topics that are likely to occupy investors' minds over the coming 12 months and beyond.

We would be delighted if you could join us for Vision 2015, where John Haynes, our head of Research, and John Wyn-Evans, our head of Investment Strategy, will be presenting our views on what the year ahead might produce for markets and economics along with a focus on some specific themes.
