What our clients say
Thank you for being so understanding. Your service has been absolutely fantastic. I've recommended you personally to quite a few colleagues.
Michael Bennett, Birmingham
I was recommended to use Clive by a friend who had previously worked with Clive on their first house purchase. I am now just about to go through my second house move in under 18 months and have used Clive to help me with my mortgage on both occasions. Clive makes applying for the mortgage so easy and takes away all the hassle that comes with searching for the best deal and going through the application. Clive takes the time to understand my circumstances and what is best for me at the time. Not to mention he is also available day and night and is really so helpful with any questions I have whether mortgage related or not. Clive is a pleasure to work with and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending him to any of my friends or family.
Amy Beasley, Tamworth
We have had an excellent service, excellent advice and a ‘rewarding’ experience form AFH and Clive Strange, our personal Finance Adviser over many years and through some decisive moments in our financial lives. Always straightforward, prompt, professional and clear. We can’t fault the company and are grateful for their regular updates on how our investments are doing. Five stars, definitely!
Pamela Adams, Abingdon
Our family has been with this company for over 15yrs; we have always received excellent financial advice especially Clive and Phil who are the representatives that are dealing with our family needs. Would not hesitate to recommend them for any money advice you may require. Always a friendly, helpful voice on the other end of the phone or in person if need be; will put your mind at rest about money matters you have.
Tina Church, Marlow
AFH are always so helpful and willing to help when I ask, as a family member representing another I would admit to knowing very little but Clive in particular has always been so generous with his expert advice; would highly recommend to anyone.
Debbie Baker, Worcester
I have been a client of AFH since the group took over all the clients of my previous financial adviser, Robert Magee. In that time Clive Strange has dealt with my account. I am writing this to applaud the great service I have had from Clive over the last 7 or 8 years (it’s a pity people only complain and never praise – in fact this is my first time of praising a service I’ve received). Clive has been straightforward in giving my company, myself and my wife (Mary) financial advice. I have never doubted that his advice was in my best interest (as opposed to that of the adviser) and I have usually (although not always) acted on his advice. In the current political and financial climate of spin, miss-selling, fake news and self interest his approach is very welcome indeed. He knows his subject, has tremendous gravitas, is honest and transparent. A real asset for AFH!
Noel Stauton, Seaview
Always had great, prompt, helpful service with AFH.

About us

The AFH Financial Group has a team of Independent Financial Advisers, with headquarters in prestigious offices at AFH House in Bromsgrove. The AFH Group, founded over 25 years ago by Chartered Financial Planner, Alan Hudson has evolved into a company with a culture that focuses on working in partnership with clients and building long-term relationships based on mutual trust and respect.

I am personally based in the Worcester area, but I have clients all over the south half of the country, so distance is not an issue.

AFH works with every product provider in the market place so we will always find you the best possible solution to meet your needs or work with your existing arrangements to make sure they continue to achieve your goals.

I also hold all of the extra qualifications required in order to advise on mortgages, equity release and long-term care.

I have been a Financial Adviser for over 20 years now, and my main areas are Retirement Planning, Investments and Equity Release, although I am fully authorised and experienced in all areas of financial planning.

Our services

All clients receive an initial consultation to discuss how we can work together; it's vitally important that you feel you can trust your adviser and we can work together over the long term.

I take my time to fully understand a client's situation, to review any existing policies and present a very thorough analysis of my findings with a precise recommendation on how I think you should proceed.

I'm now a Chartered Financial Planner, which is the highest level of qualification in our industry, and a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society.
