What our clients say
I was about to retire and to receive a lump sum requiring sensible management over a medium to long term period (it didn't need to produce an annuity). He was listed on the Society of Late Life Advisors (SOLLA) website that had been recommended to me by Which?. He reviewed my current and likely future financial situation, including an ISA Equity portfolio I already held, examined my risk profile and delivered a prompt and clear report with well argued recommendations. Over the last year the medium risk platform he advised has yielded a reasonable return slightly ahead of expectations and he has also advised on and carried through the migration of my earlier ISA portfolio to a more appropriate platform. What could they have done better? His explanations and reports have always been prompt and clear and he has been patient with my lack of experience and sometimes repetitive questioning. My knowledge of investment options and platforms was not strong at the outset . Although the explanations and comparators in his reports were and are very clear and convincing, showing no sign of bias, in retrospect maybe I should have carried out more background reading myself. I didn't think of it at the time but it might have been useful if he could have recommended some places to look if available. Having said that I did get some good corroborative info from Which?
Katharine, London
Brendan ensured that he fully understood our views on risk and our future plans both medium and long term. During the course of his investigations he kept us fully informed of progress and ensured that we understood his advice. He ensured that our circumstances and attitudes had not changed before going ahead with the investments. He also made sure that we understood the fee structure in the initial interview. I was impressed when he advised that we delay a decision on an annuity as he had seen reviewed the latest news on my existing fund which resulted in a an increased in the transfer value and made sure that we understood the latest budget implications prior to making our final decision on the annuity. At all times we felt confident that Brendan was doing his best to ensure that we received the best outcome. What could they have done better? This is a very difficult question as we were so impressed with his service. Nothing springs to mind
David, Kent
We have used Brendan Sheehan’s financial advice and services in quite few areas for a number of years now - health insurance, investments, mortgage advice, pensions etc. His professional dealings are always outstanding and bespoke. Brendan is highly qualified in his field and is always ready to come and meet with you to discuss any financial matters at hand and offer a solution that is just right for your business. In his dealings with clients he will always make sure that you have a good experience - for us it always resulted into a positive and economically balanced outcome. We would highly recommend Brendan Sheehan’s financial services as you are guaranteed to have a positive experience.
Nina Dimitrova, London
Brendan has a very professional and caring approach. He listened carefully to my needs and gave very good and honest advice. He explained all options carefully so that I understood before I made my decision. He was open and completely upfront about related costs and fees. I received an excellent service and am completely happy with the options I chose. So much so that I have recommended Brendan to all my own clients in the full knowledge that they will receive an excellent service with open and honest recommendations.
Sandra, Managing Director- Finsbury Robinson, Blackheath
I had inherited some money which I wanted to invest for my future care needs. I found that Brendan was a very good listener and that he quickly understood my purpose in needing to invest and the level of risk I was prepared to take with the money. In subsequent meetings he explained thoroughly the results of his analysis and the reasons for his suggestions. I felt confident that his advice was sound. I would be very happy to recommend Brendan for his professionalism and his breadth of experience in this field. yes. What could they have done better? The process was excellent. There is no need to offer suggestions for improvement
Deirdre, Kent
I have been knowing Brendan as our company's financial consultant as long as I have been working for this company nearly three years and in all this time he has always been very professional, friendly, approachable and trustworthy. He is always available and helpful, through his extensive rage of contact details, and very down to earth when it comes to give full explanation on the various products he gives his advice for. What could they have done better? I believe that he is very thorough in his approach and does not need any further constructive suggestions from me. He is also always striving for more qualifications to widen his expertise.
Laura, London
The possibility for Equity Release. During the course of his research he kept us fully informed of progress and ensured that we understood his advice. At all times we felt confident that Brendan was doing his best to ensure that we received the desired outcome. We cannot recommend Brendan highly enough. We are now Mortgage free and received the desired outcome. What could they have done better ? Brendan could not have been more helpful and we would both like to thank Brendan sincerely for his positivity and thorough professionalism throughout in what has been a very stressful time in our lives. The whole process left us emotionally drained but thanks to his guidance and support we have achieved exactly what we set out to do. We cannot recommend Brendan highly enough.
Michael Jones, London
Definitely 5 stars for the great quality of your service, you constantly keep me informed on financial issues on a weekly basis via email and most of all your readily availability to discuss with me directly any of my financial matters which arise. Thank you very much for on going support and also a thank you for Continuum great organisation.
Michelangelo, Kent
I chose Brendan to advise on my elderly mother’s investments as he was listed as a well qualified advisor on The Society of Later Life Advisors list, and I am very glad that I did. In every aspect he has been thoroughly professional and very personable. Despite us having little financial knowledge he was always patient, helpful and explained anything we weren’t sure about, often more than once. He listened to my mother’s wants and needs and after his initial research he explained his findings and they all seem like sound decisions. Brendan will continue to manage the portfolio going forwards and we feel it is in safe hands. Would highly recommend.
