I wanted to give some money to my children to help them out. I wanted them to save it and grow it for the future.
Paul set up an ISA for each of my 3 children and for the last two years I have moved £15000 into each ISA per year. After 7 years there will be no inheritance tax to pay on the money and my children are now getting interested in shares and noticing some of the potential if they save.

PENSION
For years my work has paid into a private pension for me. I am not starting to think about retirement and wanted to look into a SIPP as I had heard about the 25% tax free lump sum and the flexible draw down options.
Paul went through my financial circumstances and what my future aspirations are and then sent me a details proposal of what could be done.
He then got a SIPP opened for me, transferred my pension from my old provider into the SIPP and invested the proceeds.
I have used some of the tax free lump sum to pay off my mortgage and I now only work 4 days a week, moving to 3 next year. Paul manages the portfolio in a selection of Shares, Bonds and specialist funds. Previously my old Pension provider had me invested in one massive fund. Now I have a much better spread of investments and am taking less risk by investing a far greater proportion of the money in fixed interest investments.
I now have a viable plan to stop working over the next couple of years and have the peace of mind that I will have a pension to live off.
Gary, London
I wanted to increase the income I was receiving from my investments and for the amount to be relatively stable.
Paul recommended and subsequently bought holdings in a selection of Bonds and some shares where the income yield was 5.7%. Far above what I can get from the bank. I have had this portfolio for over 10 years with minimum changes over that time.
