What our clients say
I have seen the outcome I wished for and Tony is always available to give me any information or advice that I need. He assisted me to make the most of my pensions and his advice has provided me with a retirement income that is far better than I could have managed if he had not provided advice and assistance. Tony also helped me to manage my pension pots so that any monies left are able to be inherited by my family. I am extremely happy to have met Tony and have benefited enormously from his good and clear advice.
Suzanne R, Seer Green, Bucks
I was looking at options to maximise retirement funds, to provide flexibility of how much and when funds are accessed in retirement with a view to leaving an additional inheritance to our children. Tony provided a comprehensive analysis of our requirements providing all of the facts and the pros and cons of the options open to us. Tony was very patient, and extremely professional in guiding us impartially through the complexities and pros & cons of the options open to us. Every question was answered in a clear way, and time was spent to explain in more detail if required, and Tony was always happy to go over things again, and at a time that suited us. I now clearly understand the options, and this has helped me make an informed decision about what to do at this point in time, and what to consider in the future. So I have gained the outcome I was looking for through the impartial guidance from Tony. A detailed explanation of the personal financial analysis upfront is extremely useful, and Tony spent time in this area with summaries compiled, and built up through the discussions. His report is great as a reference to remind the client how various scenarios were arrived at.
Nick G, London
I wanted to consolidation and transfer pensions following my divorce settlement then future planning including funding house move. Tony showed a good understanding of my needs and goals and was happy to adjust as we continued discussions. Advice was pitched at the right level and Tony was pretty patient when I needed help to understand a difficult or unfamiliar issue. Most importantly I feel more confident that I am making wise and pragmatic decisions about mine and my children's future finances. Financing a house move has proved uncomplicated and relatively stress free.
Sarah M, Oxfordshire
I am very happy with the services and on-going support I have received from Tony, the face-to-face meetings that were conducted in the offices of some prestigious wealth management companies in the City. Tony's professional demeanour has given me confidence in his abilities and recommendations throughout the entire process.
John Forster, London
Tony helped with consolidating pension funds (mine + spouse) and understanding expected income level at retirement, based on pensions and shares held. He spent time understanding and reviewing our financial situation and needs and clearly explained the implications of any advice given or choices made. He modelled possible outcomes at retirement based on various choices and consolidated our pension funds. Most importantly, the advice and modelling enabled us to understand whether our pension contributions (to-date and planned) would meet our requirements for retirement, which had never previously been clear to me. The regular information provided by the pension companies/fund managers tends to provide a lot of detail without actually giving a clear picture of these two critical indicators - I don't usually have the time to digest all the detail. Tony talks us through the reports in plain English which is very helpful.
Nick J, Watford
We have been putting a financial review off but we are at an age where our children are growing up and we needed to do some planning. Tony Woodward came to visit my wife and I at home and arrived bang on time which was important to us. The first thing to say is that Tony was not trying to sell us anything. He asked us to put some basic facts about our financial situation together - which was useful in itself - and then talked us through our plans. He is calm, experienced and knowledgeable. We both felt that his advice was sound and sensible. We needed expert advice to clarify some questions we had about our future plans for ourselves and our children. Tony explained the options without jargon. Honestly, we don't feel he could have done a better job for us.
Paul R, Kingston - upon - Thames
I engaged Tony for financial planning for current and future. Plus I had three different Pension plans and needed advice. One Defined Benefit Pension especially required expert skills. Also needed inheritance planning to include my children and grandchildren. Tony was very professional and very well informed on a wide range of financial products and services and was excellent articulating the nature of the services as well as the processes involved, the risks and benefits, the analysis and patiently following through to successful completion. I plan to continue with Tony for my future annual financial reviews to keep up to date with any changes or trends that may benefit my investments.
Irene S, London
He gave us easy to understand, sensible advice which had been ongoing for many years. Tony was so professional, friendly and we totally trust him and his judgement He removed a lot of stress and upset that we have had to bear for many years.
Harry D, Charlfont
Tony came to see my Mother regarding her finances and releasing a financial gift to her children. Tony was extremely helpful, he worked out the best way to help her achieve the outcome she wanted. Tony kept us up to date at every stage.
Susan B, Surrey
I was recommended to Tony by a will writer when searching for a reputable financial adviser to support my mother with her equity release. Tony gave solid professional advice. Which was easily understood and comprehensive. He was personable and patient with my mum which was very considerate of him. We were very pleased, in fact he managed to reduce the interest rate during the course of the process before the offer was finalised. Tony was attentive and followed up well.
Diane, Surrey
I was made redundant and so looking for pension advice. I've never really understood my pensions and it so confusing because I have a few with different ex-employers and they're different types so I avoided them completely! But when I was made redundant I had to face it.. Tony was recommended to me by an ex-colleague who spoke very highly of him. Tony very clearly gave me a full explanation of my pension situation and in very simple terms told what my options are. I began to understand the differences and what action I should take. Most importantly he gave me direction and even explained my Govt pension to me. Yes I was looking for understanding, which I definitely got and a plan of action. What could they have done better? Tony couldn't have done anything more he was very patient as it took me a while to gather some information and replied swiftly to each email
Daljit C, London
I was seeking expert advice to improve my understanding of pension issues and inheritance tax planning Following a discussion on the phone, Tony visited us at home to gain a comprehensive understanding of our family finances, investments and aspirations. He then conducted a full review of our investments and offered very detailed financial planning advice, support with tax issues and directed us to a solicitor who could help with the legal aspects of inheritance tax planning. He has since provided advice on various other issues, including mortgages. Tony is thorough in his approach, which he tailors for clients' specific requirements. The advice he provides is considered, informed and eminently sensible. Tony's advice has more than exceeded our needs.
Nigel N, Buckinghamshire
Sally was retiring and we were both concerned about our ability to have a secure financial future with the focus being on relocating to Norfolk. Tony helped us to assess and understand our current financial situation and our future predictions. He advised on consolidating our assets that now provide an income and have the potential for future growth. We now have a financial portfolio each and have access to see our investments at any time. Tony has also shared a long term plan which means we can be confident that we will be financially secure in our old age. What could they have done better? We are not sure that anything could have been done better, Tony has even paid for additional training too support our financial plan. Amazing service and knowledge!!
Julie and Sally, Nottingham
I needed to release equity from my final salary pension to purchase a property Tony prepared the case to allow authority to release the cash, and execute the transfer The transfer is now complete Tony was professional throughout the process and very proactive in seeing it through to completion, so no areas for improvement
Mark N, Wimbledon
We own several rental properties and wanted to make sure that we made the correct decisions for the future. Tony gave advice in relation to Life Insurance to cover the value of the outstanding mortgages and Trust planning for our families. His attention to detail ensured that we took out the appropriate policies as we had been given poor advice in the past.
Brendan, Bedfordshire
