Chate is Diploma qualified with over 15 years’ experience, providing expert advice on retirement objectives, investments goals, protection needs, estate planning as well as mortgages. He began his career at Abbey National (Santander now), later he was recruited by HSBC and then worked for Prudential Financial Planning, where he provided specialist pension advice.
In his youth, he found that he had a passion for finance and could simplify the language to make it easier to understand. While offering advice to his friends he realised that helping people was his calling.
Away from work, Chate is married. He and his wife have children of their own but chose to become foster carers in 2014 and have foster children stay with them.
Chate holds a 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, he enjoys spending time with his family, (playing games and watching movies) and travelling with his wife.
Today, with Alexander House Chate enjoys the support and backup of a FTSE250 business called Quilter which ensures Advance quality is always maximised. Meanwhile he offers clients the choice between a traditional face-to-face meeting or a 'virtual' Teams/Zoom meetings while always ensuring clients are updated on progress throughout the advice process and performance of their portfolios there onwards.
