About us

We are wholly owned by Gilbert Stephens LLP, a long-established Solicitors practice with over 100 staff in our offices in Exeter, Crediton, Ottery St Mary, Sidmouth and Budleigh Salterton. Our Financial Services team was established in 1988 as a department within the law firm to complement its high quality legal advice. We became a separate company in 2012. These close ties enable us to offer our clients a dedicated financial service which is seamlessly integrated with the advice of the legal practice. This is of particular benefit in taxation, inheritance planning, family matters and pension-sharing on divorce.

Our services

We specialise in investment for income and/or growth, pensions (including pension-sharing following divorce), long-term care, estate planning and Inheritance Tax mitigation. Our personal approach is tailored to your individual needs. We work with Gilbert Stephens LLP Solicitors where integrated legal advice is required alongside our financial recommendations. We are committed to treating you fairly and always put your interests first. We take time to understand your requirements in order to achieve your objectives. We provide an estimate of our fees at the outset for both the provision of initial advice and our ongoing services.
