First meeting at adviser's own cost
Why is Independent Financial Advice important? Well not all the best people work for the same company and one company does not have all the best products and services. Add this to the fact that when comparing products and services we are also comparing costs to ensure that we are recommending the best products at the best price. Whilst tied advice offers you a product which is the best of what they have, it may not be the best available from the whole of the market and may not be at the best price. Get in touch with us to see if we can help. If we cannot improve on what you have we will tell you this. If what you have is great we will tell you this. There is no initial consultation fee to understand what you have and what you need. Fees are only payable if we believe that we can make a difference and you instruct us to implement this plan.

What were the circumstances that caused you to look for a financial adviser? Just before retirement in 2016 I had a few private pensions that needed decisions to either take, consolidate or invest. How did Neil Goodlad help you? He advised me to take 1 pension which had an annuity rate of 10.4%, to consolidate 2 others & invest the 25% value (tax free amount) over 8 years in a medium risk (4% minimum) investment. He advised me to cash in a small pension. Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for? I took his advise on all of the above & I am very pleased with the outcome. What could they have done better? The only advise I didn't undertake was a higher risk investment of the 25% pension value which I myself decided not to go with.
