Before moving into the financial services industry Jacob ran his own business for 2 years, before selling it on and using the proceeds to start family life. He has been in the financial services industry where he started working for a life insurance provider, helping professional advisers protect their clients and learnt quickly that he wanted to be the one giving the advice as he really felt his calling was to help clients directly. From there on he moved into advising on mortgages, working for a major high street estate agent where he gained a vast amount of experience. He then moved into a holistic financial planning role with Landmark IFA, working initially as an adviser aide before moving full time into financial planning. He left Landmark IFA in August 2020 and joined Alexander House Financial Planning. Jacob’s main focus is to help clients with their financial planning, their goals, and objectives in life. Whether that is ensuring you can retire on time, save for school fees or anything else, his job is to make things simple, come up with a plan, put that plan into action and ensure it stays on track and ultimately deliver for his clients.
Today, with Alexander House Jacob enjoys the support and backup of a FTSE250 business called Quilter which ensures Advance quality is always maximised. Meanwhile he offers clients the choice between a traditional face-to-face meeting or a ‘virtual’ Teams/Zoom meeting while always ensuring clients are updated on progress throughout the advice process and performance of their portfolios there onwards.
