R01 - Financial Services, Regulation and Ethics (CII)
This qualification assesses a knowledge and understanding of the financial services industry, including regulation, legislation and the Code of Ethics.
Dip PFS - Personal Finance Society Diploma (PFS)
To achieve DipPFS individuals must achieve 140 credits. At least 80 credits must be at Diploma or AFPC level.
ER1 - Equity Release (CII)
This examination assesses a knowledge and understanding of the different types of equity release products, risks to the consumer associated with equity release and application of suitable equity release solutions according to the circumstances of different customers.
CF6 - Certificate in Mortgage Advice (CII)
This qualification assesses a knowledge and understanding of the UK regulation environment in the financial services industry, mortgage products, repayment options and the giving of mortgage advice.
DipFA - Diploma for Financial Advisers (LIBF)
The Diploma enhances knowledge in core areas such as regulation, investment principles, risk, taxation and personal financial planning using real-life scenarios to develop the essential skills to apply this technical knowledge in practice
CF8 - Certificate in Long-Term Care Insurance (CII)
This qualification assesses a knowledge and understanding of the UK regulation environment in the financial services industry, long term care insurance products and the giving of long term care insurance advice.
J11 - Wrap and Platform Services (CII)
At the end of the unit candidates should be able to understand the use of platforms in providing financial services, the legal regulatory environment in which they operate and the ability to assess the suitability of platforms in meeting client requirements
CertPFS (DM) - Certificate Personal Finance Society (PFS)
To achieve the CertPFS (DM) and individual needs to pass 2 diploma units in Regulation and ethics and Discretionary Investment Management
AdvDipFA - Advance Diploma in Financial Advice (LIBF)
This qualification is for those individuals that wish to undertake additional qualifications above the benchmark requirement and covers investment strategies, taxation, trusts and later life planning.
J10 - Discretionary Investment Management (CII)
At the end of this unit candidates should be able to analyse and apply financial information and portfolio management skills
CMLIBF - Chartered Member of the London Institute of Banking & Finance
Having achieved the IFS Level 6 Diploma in Financial Advice, advisers can go onto to achieve this recognisable benchmark of quality and ethical practice for financial services professionals, elevating financial planning and advice in the public eye to the same standing as other Chartered professions. The holder must demonstrate a combination of experience, financial qualifications, ongoing educational activity (continuous professional development) and ethical behaviour.
R07 - Certificate in Advanced Mortgage Advice
This qualification assesses a knowledge and understanding of key elements of the mortgage process, specialist types of mortgage lending, challenges in the mortgage industry and the giving of mortgage advice.
R08 - Pensions Update Programme
This qualification assesses a knowledge and understanding of recent pension reforms and how the changes impact at-retirement advice.
AwPETR - Award in Pension Transfers
This qualification assesses a knowledge and understanding of pension transfer options available and their implications, including income options, legislation and regulations impacting pension transfers, transitional issues as a result of different forms of protection, and the relationship between pension returns and options and investment and capital risk.
Certificate in Equity Release
This qualification assesses a knowledge and understanding of the mortgage process and the principles of equity release.
CF1 - UK financial services, regulation & ethics (CII)
This exam accesses understanding of the financial services industry including regulation and legislation.
