What our clients say
Highly Recommended We have had the pleasure of working with Nicholas as our professional adviser since he took over the management of a complicated investment portfolio back in 2008, at this point in time we had very little faith in the financial services sector and our previous financial adviser caused there to be an element of mistrust initially with the whole advice process and management. I am pleased to say that through Nicholas`s hard work and determination he has fully restored our confidence in employing a financial adviser, always being at hand and regularly updating us on the performance of our investment portfolio we could not ask for anything more from Nicholas and The Pension Planner, we have a greater understanding of how our monies are being looked after and have seen impressive growth on our investments year on year without fail. We have placed all of our trust in our adviser and he hasn't let us down once during the last 8 years and we very much look forward to our regular client reviews which are a great opportunity to ensure our financial planning and longer term objectives are on track, not to mention a good catch up about our families over a coffee and biscuit! We look forward to many more years of working with Nicholas and his firm and couldn't recommend their professional services highly enough.
Mrs Maureen Moore, Trust Pilot Review
Supportive financial advice designed to meet your objectives Throughout my dealings with the Pension Planner I have found the team to be proactive and rigorous in their approach to understanding and providing solutions to my financial objectives. I was impressed by the care that was taken to assess my financial position, and to validate the objectives that I was hoping to achieve. From my very first phone call with Amy and Steve I have found communications by phone, e-mail and post to be efficient, timely and clear. The team delivered a very detailed analysis of my various pension investments, and created an integrated solution to consolidate these funds into a single and more productive investment designed to operate at a level of risk with which I am comfortable. This proposal was discussed in un-pressured, face to face meetings with Andrew, and the process was transparent and objective. The structure and size of fees are made very clear at the outset of discussions. Communications were excellent throughout both the decision period and the transfer process and this responsiveness has been maintained to address a number of recent questions.

Excellent all round service Following redundancy and an opportunity to take my company pension earlier than expected, I faced a major change to my financial position. Independent financial advice was essential given my situation, so having completed searches via the internet I decided to make contact with 'The Pension Planner'. This has turned out to be a very good decision as right from the initial contact in January the service I have received has been excellent. Nicholas Pratt has been superb, quickly understanding my position and then recommending appropriate products for my review. Having reviewed and agreed to proceed with the recommendations, Nick and the team have been very efficient getting everything set up and my money invested. Communication both via email and phone have been very good, keeping me informed of progress all the way in a timely manner. My main contact has been with Nick but I have also been impressed with the contact I have had from Steve, Amy and Holly. The team are very client focused and helpful, it really feels as though I am important client and that they will always ensure that the information shared with me will be timely and relevant. Also being able to view my portfolio online to get regular updates on my fund valuations is an excellent facility and I will be regularly monitoring the funds via this route. Overall an excellent service, I find it hard to think of anything else that could have been done to improve my experience to date.

Wonderfull Company Sorry in advance for the lengthy review,( so much to say ) I am due to retire next July and got to thinking that i had better begin to gather some information about my private pension and what's on offer on the market as regards annuities. I Knew very little about pensions and all the jargon that is used, and in today's world financial situation i wouldn't know where to start. So i started looking at reviews of local IFA's and the reviews were good on the whole , but one stood out from the rest with the most positive reviews of all was The Pension Planner .My wife and i made an appointment to see Andrew Hursthouse at our home one evening to discuss our finances and in particular pensions. Andrew arrived and we got to work,he listened to all our needs and concerns ,then guided us through all the stages that would have to be gone through ,he also spoke of various options we would be able to choose from,if we didn't understand he put it into terms that we did understand which was brilliant. It took a few week for all the information to be collated from my Pension Provider but we had regular calls from a lovely lady her name is Holly Evans in the office to let us know what had come and what was due to come which we appreciated . Andrew came back to see us having received all the information he required,He had done a full assessment of all our pensions and guided through how to maximise my pension to suit our needs in our retirement. He is very knowledgable and trustworthy, and conducted everything in a professional manner and explaining all in a language we could understand and very patient . As a result of using The Pension Planner we now have plans in place for our future retirement knowing in our opinion the best advice, and would definitely advise anyone needing assistance with any financial matter to use The Pension Planner. Andrew Hursthouse is a real professional working for a professional Company Thank you very much indeed....Mr & Mrs KT Ashmore
