This year’s Advice Map shows once again the UK’s advice hotspots… and cold spots. We identify the places where more people search for professional advice, as a percentage of population. And this year saw some significant movers.

Aberdeen, Dundee, Edinburgh and Glasgow, all in the bottom ten last year, had risen in the league table considerably, and there was not one but two Scottish towns in the top ten (Kilmarnock and Motherwell). Could this surge in Scots seeking advice be connected to the independence referendum held in the same year? Did the months of debate encourage more people to think seriously about their future?

You can see the full advice league table here.

Stay tuned later on this week to get our full advice hotspot review
