When it comes to prestigious addresses and jaw-dropping property prices, the UK is home to some of the most sought-after streets in the world.

Using the latest data from Rightmove, we take a closer look at some of the most expensive streets in the UK, both inside and outside of London.

London and its surrounding areas dominate the UK's most expensive streets, with average asking prices ranging from just under £9 million to over £12.5 million.

Winnington Road in Barnet commands the highest average asking price at £12,538,095, followed by Chester Square in Westminster at £11,546,428.

Barnet features twice in the top five, with The Bishops Avenue also appearing at £8,930,650, while Thurloe Place in Kensington and Chelsea and East Road in Elmbridge round out the list at £8,904,545 and £8,795,714 respectively.

Rightmove property expert Colleen Babcock says:

"This year’s top 20 is taken up almost entirely by London addresses, showing the city still reigns as supreme when it comes to ultra-prime property.

For buyers looking for prestigious roads outside of the hustle and bustle of London, Elmbridge in Surrey is flying the flag for the rest of the country as the only area outside the capital to make the top 20 list."

Outside of London, East Road in Elmbridge leads the way with an average asking price of £8,795,714, though this figure is considerably higher than the remaining entries.

Newlands Avenue in Hertsmere comes in second at £3,950,000, followed by Congleton Road in Cheshire East at £3,323,500.

Larch Avenue in Windsor and Maidenhead and Salterns Way in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole round out the list at £2,779,167 and £2,460,000 respectively, highlighting the significant price variation found across the country's most sought-after streets.
