Saltus also recognises the importance of the digital experience, noting that a well-optimised website journey and multiple marketing channels can help guide leads from initial enquiry through to conversion. 

Gillies states that Unbiased plays an important role in this omnichannel approach. 

“Having a good mix of channels is really key to successful growth. So having Unbiased as part of our mix is a really important and helpful thing for us,” he states.  

Combined with fast, human-led contact, this gives Saltus a powerful edge in an increasingly digital-first advice market. 

This digital transformation is something Saltus believes presents a real opportunity for advice firms.  

“If you get ahead of the game and you embrace technological change, you should be able to service your clients more effectively whilst also becoming more profitable,” Gilles says.  

Since joining, Saltus has seen its average annual client size from Unbiased Pro leads grow from £450,000 to £650,000.  

Unbiased Pro has quickly become a key growth channel for the firm. This is something they are confident will continue, noting the ability of Unbiased Pro to grow with you as one of the elements that drew them to the platform.  

“We've reached a good point where we're generating a good number of leads and converting a decent number of clients, but there's still more growth to go with Unbiased,” says Gillies.
