What our clients say
I was made redundant about a year ago and received a big redundancy lump sum and was looking for advice on the funds along with my pension. DC spent almost 4 hours in the first meeting with me going through every detail of my financial and personal situation and got a clear understanding of what me and my family wanted and were aiming for in the long term. He then came back to me after doing thorough research with a formal recommendation and put it into simple words to explain how it met our objectives. There was a lot of different things that were done but it all seemed so seamless and easy. DC made a huge difference in my tax liability that would have been due on the redundancy lump sum. He also reviewed the pension and my Inheritance tax liability. What is your current situation? Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for? Definitely, it was quite evident from the word 'go' as the reduction in tax itself was a tangible result. What could they have done better? I cannot thing of a single thing DC could have done better. He was extremely professional and genuinely interested in me and my objectives rather than other advisors I have met in my past who were only interested in their fees in my humble opinion.
Martin, Glasgow
What were the circumstances that caused you to look for a Financial adviser? Redundancy for myself and husband retired and purchased annuity. How did Dhawal Chandan help you? Got to know in full our current circumstances, changes and what plans and aspirations we had for the future.Dhawal checked the market, gave us time to consider and when the time was right for us helped my husband get an enhanced annuity and secure income. What is your current situation? Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for? Yes. What could they have done better? Dhawal is a very caring individual who looks after you from the start and has regular contact with you so nothing better we are very happy.
Jane, Glasgow
He regards me as a person rather than as a source of income.
Karl, Glasgow
Clear and informative advice. Adviser is very knowledgable and understands the needs of his client and is able to balance his expertise with the wishes of the client and provide a person- centred approach. What could they have done better? I have been very satisfied with the progress of my financial affairs and I value the adviser's expertise. I am happy to be informed on a regular basis as required and consulted regarding any changes to investments.
Margaret, Glasgow
Dhawal listens well which is more than half the battle. One would be surprised how few advisors really listen and respond with pre-conceived ideas. His proposals were sensible and tailored to our needs and age profile.
Ross, Glasgow
What were the circumstances that caused you to look for a Financial adviser? I was looking for advice on my pension and the existing life insurance policies I had. How did Dhawal Chandan help you? DC spent a lot of time initially understanding my circumstances and then studied my existing plans in great detail. He then came back to me with his findings and solutions, needless to say I went ahead with his advice and since then have had regular reviews as he had initially promised to do. What is your current situation? Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for? Absolutely, in fact I feel that I have had a much better outcome than I expected and I am very happy to have found a highly knowledgeable and ethical adviser like DC. What could they have done better? I do not believe there is anything that I can say DC hasn't already surpassed my expectations on.
George, Glasgow
DC has a very nice friendly manner. He is very organised and detailed in his investigation. He is clear and precise in his explanation to allow me to make an informed decision

Sarah, Glasgow
I was looking for advice on my pension. DC helped me in making the right decision with my pension fund choices. His advice is clear and he makes it sound all so simple avoiding the complex jargon and more importantly shows how it is relevant to me personally. I was very impressed with his financial knowledge and his sincerity and commitment in doing what is right for me. His advice was for me to contact my pensions department make a few alterations in the fund choices, gave me some pointers on my Will and gave me a overall financial health check. He did not charge me a single penny as he said that he or his admin team did not really have to do much and 'it was on the house'!!. What is your current situation? Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for? Absolutely, it has been over a year since I made the changes he suggested and compared it to see what difference it has made as compared to the funds I was originally invested in and let's just say I am pleasantly surprised to say the least. What could they have done better? Nothing at all. It is rare to come across an advisor who actually provides unbiased and honest advice and doesn't try and sell you something just to make money. The industry can do with many more advisors like DC.
Pam, Glasgow
I outlined my situation to Dhawal and he went away, investigated all the options and came back and presented them to me in a clear and concise manner.Did not need any financial knowledge as Dhawal took the time out to explain everything and I was very clear with the pro's and con's to each option.I subsequently had a change of situation and Dhawal did not seem annoyed or make me feel like my issues were an insignificance.Came away from the experience very impressed with the knowledge he had and his professionalism and patience. Can't recommend him any further and have since put friends and family in touch with Dhawal.
Chan, Glasgow
He suggested the best policy to suit my personal circumstances after taking time to properly assess my circumstances and needs in great detail.
Deepti, Leeds
What were the circumstances that caused you to look for a Financial adviser? I was looking for a financial adviser to look after my investments after leaving my previous adviser. How did Dhawal Chandan help you? He asked about our investments and explained what we shoud do at this time with them. he went through all aspects of our investment and gave us advice . What is your current situation? Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for? He talked through all his advice and recommendations and answered all our questions , he put our minds at rest .
Richard, East Kilbride
What were the circumstances that caused you to look for a Financial adviser? I already had a financial advisor who I felt was not providing the service I expected. My wife was already using Mr Chandon to help her with her finances ,so I decided to use him. How did Dhawal Chandan help you? He rearranged and consolidated my existing finances. What is your current situation? Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for? Yes I feel that my finances are producing a far better return and I am getting greater advice than I was getting from my previous advisor. What could they have done better? I find it quite difficult to say how the service could be improved at present.
Ian, Dumbartonshire
I wanted advise regarding investments, insurance and pension savings. Dc sorted it all out for me. My pension was invested into a fund which was hardly growing year by year. After I contacted him, we set up an appointment and he set up my pension investments by smartly splitting up investments into various different sectors which seems to be growing more than I had hoped for. DC also manages my insurance policies and regularly advises me on investment savings. What is your current situation? Have you seen the outcome you were hoping for? Yes absolutely, couldn't be more pleased. I have recommended friends and colleagues to Dhawal and they have had a positive experience too. What could they have done better? I have had a few advisors in the past but never been fully satisfied with either until I spoke to Dhawal. There is always room to I prove but I feel the service he provides is excellent, he knows the market and I fully trust him.
