What our clients say
Place Your Trust In The Pension Planner About a year before I approached retirement age I decided I needed to ensure that I understood what pension payments I would receive. As I held several different pension plans over my 50 years working life, this was not an easy task. It became evident to me that I would need to speak with a professional adviser. I am so glad that I chose The Pension Planner. Before fully committing I had initial review meetings with Andrew Hursthouse. Speaking with Andrew, I realised there were better options open to me that I appreciated. Good choices are vital, particularly now the government made major changes to pension rules. So I made the decision to committed fully to the Pension Planner to sort out my retirement income options & make further investments to ensure my income remains in good health. Without doubt I made the right choice with The Pension Planner team.

Pre-retirement pensions advice I've never consulted a Financial Adviser before so this was a very new experience. I found Andrew Hursthouse very easy to talk to, very knowledgeable and helpful with his follow up advice. I'd recommend Pension Planner to people like me approaching retirement, who've given little thought to pensions and financial planning. I'll happily go back to Andrew to seek financial advice in future.
Dianna, Trust Pilot Review
Pension review and advice After my employer had closed the final salary pension scheme, I was left with a decision of where to invest my funds for a defined contribution pension.having not needed to understand pensions before I really was not in a position to understand what would be best for me. I was recommended Nick Pratt at The Pension Planner. He sat down and listened to my needs and within days he came back to me with information as to where to invest my funds inline with the degree of risk I was prepared to take. He explained everything in a way which was easy for me to understand. Overall I would definitely recommend The Pension Planner to anyone needing this type of advice. They provide a very knowledgeable, polite, and efficient service.

Wonderfull Company Sorry in advance for the lengthy review,( so much to say ) I am due to retire next July and got to thinking that i had better begin to gather some information about my private pension and what's on offer on the market as regards annuities. I Knew very little about pensions and all the jargon that is used, and in today's world financial situation i wouldn't know where to start. So i started looking at reviews of local IFA's and the reviews were good on the whole , but one stood out from the rest with the most positive reviews of all was The Pension Planner .My wife and i made an appointment to see Andrew Hursthouse at our home one evening to discuss our finances and in particular pensions. Andrew arrived and we got to work,he listened to all our needs and concerns ,then guided us through all the stages that would have to be gone through ,he also spoke of various options we would be able to choose from,if we didn't understand he put it into terms that we did understand which was brilliant. It took a few week for all the information to be collated from my Pension Provider but we had regular calls from a lovely lady her name is Holly Evans in the office to let us know what had come and what was due to come which we appreciated . Andrew came back to see us having received all the information he required,He had done a full assessment of all our pensions and guided through how to maximise my pension to suit our needs in our retirement. He is very knowledgable and trustworthy, and conducted everything in a professional manner and explaining all in a language we could understand and very patient . As a result of using The Pension Planner we now have plans in place for our future retirement knowing in our opinion the best advice, and would definitely advise anyone needing assistance with any financial matter to use The Pension Planner. Andrew Hursthouse is a real professional working for a professional Company Thank you very much indeed....Mr & Mrs KT Ashmore
