What our clients say
Highly Recommended We have had the pleasure of working with Nicholas as our professional adviser since he took over the management of a complicated investment portfolio back in 2008, at this point in time we had very little faith in the financial services sector and our previous financial adviser caused there to be an element of mistrust initially with the whole advice process and management. I am pleased to say that through Nicholas`s hard work and determination he has fully restored our confidence in employing a financial adviser, always being at hand and regularly updating us on the performance of our investment portfolio we could not ask for anything more from Nicholas and The Pension Planner, we have a greater understanding of how our monies are being looked after and have seen impressive growth on our investments year on year without fail. We have placed all of our trust in our adviser and he hasn't let us down once during the last 8 years and we very much look forward to our regular client reviews which are a great opportunity to ensure our financial planning and longer term objectives are on track, not to mention a good catch up about our families over a coffee and biscuit! We look forward to many more years of working with Nicholas and his firm and couldn't recommend their professional services highly enough.
Mrs Maureen Moore, Trust Pilot Review
excellent service I went to pension planner looking for honest clear advice on how best to invest my savings. My previous provider offered little or no advice so I didn't know whether I was doing the right thing or not. Now I feel confident that my money is protected and working for me. Someone, who knows what they are doing, is watching over everything and giving me the guidance I have needed for some time. The worries I have had in the past are gone and now I can relax. Thank you Pension Planner, you get my vote every time.
P Wilson, Trust Pilot Review
Trustworthy - Excellent Service - No Pressure After deciding to take early retirement at the age of 62 I was very apprehensive about how to negotiate the hugely complex world of pensions. After reading online reviews I contacted The Pension Planner. I am so glad I did. From the outset the communication, service and professionalism of the whole team has been excellent. I had telephone discussions and emails with Andrew, and Holly kept me up to date by email with what was going on, Andrew then came to my home to discuss the various options with me and my wife, in language we could understand and with absolutely no pressure. He is extremely knowledgeable and no question (or repeated question) was too small for him to give a full, patient and detailed response to. I have no hesitation in recommending The Pension Planner to anyone who needs clear and concise pension advice with no pressure.

Wonderfull Company Sorry in advance for the lengthy review,( so much to say ) I am due to retire next July and got to thinking that i had better begin to gather some information about my private pension and what's on offer on the market as regards annuities. I Knew very little about pensions and all the jargon that is used, and in today's world financial situation i wouldn't know where to start. So i started looking at reviews of local IFA's and the reviews were good on the whole , but one stood out from the rest with the most positive reviews of all was The Pension Planner .My wife and i made an appointment to see Andrew Hursthouse at our home one evening to discuss our finances and in particular pensions. Andrew arrived and we got to work,he listened to all our needs and concerns ,then guided us through all the stages that would have to be gone through ,he also spoke of various options we would be able to choose from,if we didn't understand he put it into terms that we did understand which was brilliant. It took a few week for all the information to be collated from my Pension Provider but we had regular calls from a lovely lady her name is Holly Evans in the office to let us know what had come and what was due to come which we appreciated . Andrew came back to see us having received all the information he required,He had done a full assessment of all our pensions and guided through how to maximise my pension to suit our needs in our retirement. He is very knowledgable and trustworthy, and conducted everything in a professional manner and explaining all in a language we could understand and very patient . As a result of using The Pension Planner we now have plans in place for our future retirement knowing in our opinion the best advice, and would definitely advise anyone needing assistance with any financial matter to use The Pension Planner. Andrew Hursthouse is a real professional working for a professional Company Thank you very much indeed....Mr & Mrs KT Ashmore
