What consumers think of the Budget 2014

We've had more than 150 votes for our consumer poll, 'what change from the Chancellor's Budget do you think will affect you the most?'.

Scrapping the requirement to buy an annuity was the most popular answer, with 88% of the vote.  Coming in second place was the merging of cash and shares ISAs with 38%.  Surprisingly, the extension to the Help to Buy scheme only gained 15%.  The new 12-sided coin and cut to beer tax stacked up as the least of consumer concerns, both with only 7% saying these would affect them the most from the changes.
