The current and future seller landscape post RDR

This week we take a look at the Retail Distribution Review (RDR), nearly two years on and its effects on the financial industry.  With stricter regulations in place, several small adviser firms have found it difficult to survive.  Since then there has been a rise in adviser firm acquisitions and mergers.

Business acquisition specialist, Retiring IFA, examines the financial merger market.  Stephen Hagues, founder of Retiring IFA, compares the industry market pre and post RDR, in his article 'The current and future seller landscape of post RDR'.   You can read more on the current seller landscape as well as future predictions here.

Happy anniversary

1 November marks the third anniversary of Junior ISAs.  Since January 2011, parents have been able to put away tax free funds for their children.   Creating a great foundation for their future, grandparents and family friends can also invest cash and/or stocks and shares for children also.
