unbiased.co.uk, the professional advice website, announces the winners of its ninth annual ‘Media Awards’, sponsored by Standard Life. The awards recognise the hard work and contributions made by independent financial advisers, mortgage advisers, accountants and solicitors on the Bluebook, unbiased.co.uk’s directory for the media.
The Bluebook connects personal finance journalists with media advisers who are ready and willing to provide insightful commentary and case studies showcasing the value of financial planning and professional advice for consumers.
The awards were presented at a drinks reception in London, last night. This year, two new awards were introduced to recognise outstanding articles, written by top personal finance journalists, highlighting the value of financial planning and professional advice to the consumer.
Each of the fourteen categories were judged by an expert panel including: journalists, product providers and industry specialists, and led by Karen Barrett, Chief Executive of unbiased.co.uk. The panel looked at all of the shortlisted advisers’ media work, press commentary and their engagement with unbiased.co.uk’s media services, to decide the winner of each category.
