What our clients say
I have been a client of Keith for over 15 years. Throughout that time he has offered sensible advice, which is always in the best interests of my portfolio.
Throughout this time, my assets has grown steadily, with cumulative results which are well above inflation.
Keith is truly independent and suggests ideas from a wide spectrum of products. But he will also suggest "do nothing" if that is in my best interest.
Thanks for everything Keith
Just want to say how much your help, guidance and advise over the years have meant to me. I really can't thank you enough for all you have done and for all of your time.
I am very grateful to you for your advice regarding my late father's estate. We had previously been advised that we did not qualify to transfer the unused nil rate band arising from my mother's death. You pointed out that this was incorrect and that we should benefit from this allowance. I went back to HMRC and put this to them. I am pleased to report that HMRC accepted this and refunded over £100,000 of IHT to us.
We already had a Financial Adviser, however we had become disenchanted with the quality of service we were getting. Not to put too fine a point on it, it seemed that our loyalty was being taken for granted. We therefore invited Keith Madeley to review our financial portfolio.
His approach was to scrutinise our existing arrangements and make no changes unless there was an obvious potential for improvement. The result was very little immediate change other than fine tuning. We felt confident that we had made the correct decision. Needless to say, our portfolio has strengthened and evolved substantially. We have never doubted that he has our best interests at heart. He has the ability to explain quite complicated (to us) financial concepts in layman's terms and possesses first rate communication skills.
Keith Madeley is an accomplished Financial Adviser and, when we have met them, it is clear that he is also much respected by his colleagues. We trust his judgement and believe his integrity to be impeccable. Our portfolio is quite large, and growing, and obviously at times, we must review our own situation vis-à-vis the advice we are getting and the adviser we are using. Nothing has indicated that we are getting anything other than soundly based and entirely professional advice and we therefore have no hesitation in recommending Keith Madeley as a highly competent and effective Independent Financial Adviser.
Keith Madeley has been the Financial Adviser for my wife and me for over 10 years. He has subsequently assumed the role for our 2 independent children particularly in providing them with investment and savings advice following the death of their grandmother for whom he also monitored her financial portfolio.
Despite him being located some distance from our family members he has always been willing to visit personally, arriving well prepared with up to date valuations and proposals for changes and additions to our portfolio.
Over the years he has provided solid advice as regards tax efficiency, growth and income as our requirements have changed. He helped and provided encouragement in obtaining probate following the death of my mother as well as organising the release of assets from the various financial organisations involved. He advised on matters of inheritance tax mitigation both on her estate and in our own family circumstances.
Keith is a personable man who has become a professional family friend.
I have always been suspicious of financial advisers, but was offered one, through my employers, on my pre-retirement course. This person turned out to be Keith Madeley. He was not what I expected at all.
Keith is kind, open, honest, determined to do the best for his clients and, above all, not pushy. My husband and I came to trust him very quickly and we value his advice. We have recommended him to a number of our family and friends.
As the end of another year approaches Pat and I feel we ought to thank you for your unstinting efforts in handling our finances on our behalf. Your guidance has always been accurate and pitched at a level that we can absorb and act upon as necessary. Quite apart from finance, your guidance on affiliated matters has been well found and invaluable, so much so that we have recommended your services to friends and other family members and they, too, have been delighted with your help.
Above all, your easy manner and patience for many years has enabled you to become a valued friend of the family. For this, we thank you.
I have at last received a letter from the Revenue about my tax return, which I sent in months ago. They say I have overpaid £182 for y/e 5/4/19. Perhaps I will get a cheque after a few more months. Thank you very much for your help with all that.
I have known Keith since 2005. He has always given me the time I need to understand his recommendations, and those suggestions are always in line with my requirements to give me the best with valuable but limited resources. I am more than happy with his suggestions, and having him living in the area, should an urgent request be made, he is on the door step to visit within a quick time scale. That said, his care and attention is always so explicit urgent requests have not been needed by me.
Keith Madeley has been my sole financial adviser since 2005 and will continue as such for the foreseeable future. From the very start I have been impressed by his professional approach, the quality of his advice and his personable demeanour.
He has always listened carefully to my explanation of my financial situation and to my needs, aims and desires, and has always advised appropriately. Moreover, he has always been available to respond to any questions or concerns I have had and also to help me solve any financial issues that have arisen.
Moreover, he is a friendly, smart and polite person who I feel totally at comfort with.
It is thanks to him that I would now describe my overall financial position as "very comfortable". So I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone seeking independent and knowledgeable financial advice.
Thank you for taking on my request to focus on 'ethical' investments with such enthusiasm. In the, coming up to, ten years you have been advising me on financial matters you have always been very helpful and focused on meeting my financial requirements.
Today I had a most unforgettable experience with my Financial Adviser, Keith Madeley of 2Plan Wealth Management when I accompanied an elderly friend whom I had I introduced to Keith. During this visit I was most impressed with Keith's patience in dealing slowly, in small manageable steps so as to avoid confusion. He gave everyday simple analogies to make the points easy to understand. Keith made many phone calls on behalf of my friend, his client, to ensure that all was correctly in place. He regularly stopped the procedure to ensure that there was full understanding and to answer any questions.
He repeated the main points many times to ensure there was full understanding. Many strategies were dealt with in a calm, re-assuring manner and he stated that there would be a follow up meeting to deal with areas which were still outstanding. My friend is not the most organised and I was amazed when Keith produced a file which he passed over so all papers could be safely stored.
An issue occurred which involved Power Of Attorney documents, where a payment for completion had been paid, to a different company/adviser, but which had not been followed up or concluded. Keith made a phone calls to try to obtain closure but was met with an indifferent legal representative who stated that he had dealt with the matter and given enough detail to his client, my friend, and would not be returning. Keith immediately took this over and is dealing with the closure, which made the visit today - remarkable. A pity that there are not more compassionate people around like him. Most impressive Keith.
Details of the next visit were decided and my friend left feeling much more confident and happier that his pensions were being dealt with in a constructive, secure and friendly manner. Many thanks Keith for your perseverance and unlimited patience and very sound options.
