I have been a financial adviser since 2005 having completed my education, been backpacking abroad and attained professional qualifications.
The main areas of financial planning in which I have the most experience are investments, pensions, retirement planning and inheritance tax planning.
I look after a broad range of clients and very much enjoy the human side of being an adviser in terms of meeting clients and forming a professional working relationship. I also work with a number of professional connections (accountants and a solicitor).
I believe there are a number of qualities to strive for to be a good adviser. These include having a mix of technical knowledge with a desire to grow this and a strong ability to listen and connect with what really matters to each individual. I also think it is important to build a strong bond of trust and so when a client joins us we aim to provide a lifetime financial planning experience.
Outside of work my hobbies include keeping fit, listening to my vinyl music and attempting to improve at golf. I also enjoy travel and love to get away to the Devon/ Cornwall coast for some great and often challenging coastal walks.
