I have worked in Financial Services for over 16 years and take great pride in building a full and in-depth understanding of my client’s dreams, goals and aspirations.
The most enjoyable part of my role is Life Stage planning, it is incredibly rewarding helping clients to plan for each of the different life stages, whether it is planning to buy their first home, looking after their family, planning for retirement, or planning for later life. Good planning is vital. I always remember my dad hunched over a map planning the route we would take on family outings. He always used to say, 'Fail to plan you plan to fail.'
In the same way that modern technology has moved on from paper maps, the Financial Services Industry has also adopted new technologies such as Cash Flow Modelling Tools, Risk Profiling Tools and Investment Analysis Tools. By utilising the financial planning tools available to develop and demonstrate various financial scenarios I can give my clients a better understanding of how different types of events could impact their short, medium and long term financial security.
By creating an initial plan, regularly reassessing the plan and making modifications where necessary the likelihood of arriving on time and at the right destination is greatly improved.
