My experience in mortgages started back in 2010 when I worked with Clydesdale Bank, I put myself through the mortgage exam process to show my dedication to becoming a mortgage adviser. I subsequently moved to Royal Bank of Scotland and became one of the first advisers to go through interest only training as this was new to RBS. 4 years after joining RBS, I was given the opportunity to move to an independent mortgage broker firm. In making this move, I then had access to the vast majority of lenders in the UK and could give advice on each of the lenders available instead of just one bank's products.
It is at this time that I started to provide advice on protecting your home and your mortgage and can now recommend the best cover to protect yourself and your home if anything was to happen.
