Little Aston, a village in Staffordshire, has topped the list with an average asking price of £896,341.

This is likely due to its proximity to Little Aston Park, referred to as ‘millionaire’s row.’ It also only takes an hour to travel to Birmingham and 90 minutes to get to Coventry by public transport.

Dorridge

Dorridge, a village in Solihull, is the next most expensive area with an average asking price of £803,482.

A major draw of this village is its shops, restaurants, and beautiful rural walks. The nearest city to Dorridge is Birmingham, which is only 15 minutes away by train.

Barnt Green

Barnt Green, a village in Worcestershire, is the third priciest area to live in the West Midlands with an average asking price of £793,032.

The village has many independent shops and is located near Lickey Hills Country Park, making it ideal for families. It’s also only a half hour away from Birmingham by train.

Knowle

Knowle is next on the list of the most expensive places with an average asking price of £644,071.

Broadway

In the fifth spot is Broadway, often dubbed the ‘jewel of the Cotswolds.’ The village has an average asking price of £617,418.
