While endeavours to verify the information provided as thoroughly as possible and checks weekly that all financial and mortgage advisers are currently authorised by the FCA, it is your responsibility to ensure the adviser you choose is appropriate for the business you are transacting. Any decision to transact business is made by you on the basis of your own enquiries.

To check that an adviser is regulated, you can contact the relevant body. To check financial and mortgage advisers visit the FCA website or call the FCA 0845 606 1234.

To check that a solicitors is regulated in England & Wales visit the Solicitors Regulation Authority; for solicitors in Scotland visit The Law Society of Scotland; for solicitors in Northern Ireland visit the Law Society of Northern Ireland

To check that an accountant is qualified, you can visit the relevant accountancy body.
